I have been saying that for years. It would be great for the game. Just have a weekend of say 5-8 PAC-10 vs SEC matchups, 5-8 Big-12 vs Big-10, etc.. do that 2-3 different weekends with different conferences. The fans would certainly be the winners in that one.

I'd love to see it happen but with schedules made 5+ years in advance and teams in control of their own schedules makes it tough.

Didn't Oregon State lose to a bad Stanford team already this year. Whooops, accidentally left that one out of the article.

Too bad the SEC doesn't have the balls to play MWC teams on the road. I would like to see any of them play BYU in Provo, or @TCu or @Utah. Never see it though. SEC is only .500 against the WAC, and that is playing the lower half of the WAC at that.
2008: Florida 56 Hawaii 10
2007: Georgia 41 Hawaii 10
2006: LSU 38 Fesno State 6
2006: Alabama 25 Hawaii 17. Bama lost 7 times this year.
2005: Georgia 48 Boise State 13
The elite teams of the Wac can't hang with the SEC. But they are a great opponent for the Pathetic 10 conference.

just cuz u play good teams and lose doesnt mean ur better than a team that plays shitty teams and wins.
I'm sure a USC fan would completely agree with this statement; however, this is interesting coming from an SEC fan.

if the PAC-10 played weak OOC schedule then they would without a doubt have the worst schedules in the nation every year.
the PAC-10 has to go OOC to make a name for themselves b/c they can't make it inside the conference.
USC has everything to lose and nothign to gain by playing in the pac-10.
the rest of the teams have one shot of making noise and that's by beating USC, or they have to schedule a Oklahoma or LSU or Ohio State team to gain some attention.
you know what kind of teams go out and play other good teams OOC....... teams that need money become they can't make it playing shitty teams in their conference, or by playing home games with the stadium at 75% capacity.

USC sells out, and we only play one ooc cupcake every 2-3 years.

Wrong!
2007 Season
USC averaged 87,476 fans per game which was only 95% capacity.
LSU averaged 92,619 fans per game which was 100.24% capacity.
LSU, Tenneessee, Auburn, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Kentucky, Arkansas all filled their stadium to a higher % capacity than Southern Cal did last year.
BAM!!!!!!!!

LSU plays more ranked teams than USC just about every year, if not EVERY year.
So what's your point?
