re: Question for Those Up North

I grew up in the South and have lived and worked all over the North including Alaska. I prefer the Southern weather but its not the cold that bothers me. Its the general overcast and darkness that accompanies winters in the far North. As far as NE US no thanks and Midwest-US no thanks but nothing to do with the weather, just the location.
