Yeah, most likely, if it started out of nowhere. The well at my grandmother's always produced sulfur water. Just unlucky as the where the house sat, I guess. She never tried to have it fixed because she also had county water.

Sulfate reducing bacteria. You probably have slime in there too, as well as iron reducing bacteria. Have a sample collected for BART test.
