Was married 20+ yrs....if my ex dropped dead today, I'd shrug my shoulders and move on, not attend the funeral. Waste of time.
We all attended our new grandsons first birthday party earlier this year. I would not choose to hang out with them but I also choose not to make things hard on our children/grandchildren.

Good for you. I was nearly killed by one of my kids. Stabbed me in my chest twice before I disarmed him.
The Ex never called or visited me in hospital. Did NOT fricking care I was nearly killed.
