There's too many different factors colliding together to nail down any singular point.

IMO, it basically boils down to a familial breakdown. People have prioritized the wrong things. Folks are too worried about the rat race and not taking care of their kids. So you end up with a bunch of neglected losers that have no social skills and no real world knowledge to speak of. They are raised by the internet and pop culture.

The sad part is our great leaders have endorsed this vapid culture. God, has been shoved aside for Amazon.com and other bullshite apps have taken the place of meaningful life goals.

One day people will figure it out, but I think it's going to take some real upheaval to wrest control of our culture and put things right.
