It's not like they created a law and punishment as an excuse to do this. She knowingly broke the laws of the country she was in and frequently visits and now wants special treatment. That's not getting sympathy from me.

For real. A lot of people here have no basic humanity. She doesn’t deserve what’s happening to her, but she has different views as some of the nutjobs here, so they would rather see her tortured by a foreign country. We aren’t even sure she actually committed a crime. Russia has been accused of falsifying charges in the past.
