Dude. Really not trying to be a dick here. But if they don’t have insurance or money, how is a police report going to help?
You can get punis for “injuries” under Louisiana law if the driver was drunk, but no one was in the parked car?
Here’s my problem with “always get a police report.” There’s a rear ender on the interstate. Traffic snarls behind it while two people stand out in the rain. There is a scratch on the rear bumper of the front car. That’s it.
Liability is certain, and both these assholes have phones to take pictures and insurance. But everyone waits while they get a report that wastes everyone’s time and makes absolutely zero difference.
