There aren’t many common views that both sides share these days. That’s the issue. Has nothing to do with what tv stations people watch.
One side’s majority is anti-patriotism, anti-military, anti-law enforcement, anti-capitalism, pro-open borders, pro-legalized drugs, and pro-indoctrination of children….I can’t find common ground with people that think that way.
Love of country used to be the common ground and that has evaporated in the last decade+

it's not really like that in real life though. It's just the brain washed extremist on both sides that toe party lines all the way down the line. Most people in real life, away from a political forum board, have a mixed bag of opinions that lands them closer to the middle on a spectrum than to either extreme
