Yup, MM said on the other board it wouldn’t happen, and alluded to the infamous Griff speech about how he was miserable in Cleveland because they didn’t build organically.
I tend to agree, but also could see us going after him as long as the cost is pretty much Val and picks. Anything more and we duck out

Yup. That’s kind of been my line of thinking. This would go against Griffin’s stated desires of team building pretty damn hard.
Now, if it does happen, I think we can maybe safely assume things with Zion/camp were kind of pain in the a$$ at one point and there is a fear that those could crop back up. Or maybe the contract is proving difficult to iron out.
I think that’s the only way Griff could justify this type of move in his head/heart. If some of that smoke was real. And he just wants a path away from that, that still has championship upside.
I still think at the end of the day, Durant ends up on the Suns or Raptors. Because we don’t need this trade as much as those 2 teams imo.
We have the talent and depth to win multiple championships organically. The Suns and Raptors don’t, so they will be more willing to match the Nets price in terms of providing both good players and future draft assets.
