My dad was a nerd in the 80s and would build his own computers and always drug me along. I wanted to look at computer games and the robots.

Purely nostalgia, but I’d love to have my kids go in a store with me some time. I was recently clearing out some old servers at work and brought them home to salvage RAM and HDs and my kids came in and I started explaining the parts. 99% of the time when I dadsplain they zone out but they were genuinely interested in it for a change because they hadn’t seen the inside of a computer before.
