Unsecured weapon?

Someone's about to have a sergeant buried so far up their arse that when the sergeant burps, they're gonna taste it.

Also, how did this woman know it was loaded without entering the vehicle and touching the rifle? As far as I know, standard issue magazines don't have windows on them that allow you to see if there are bullets in them. Wouldn't the only ways to know if it's loaded be to drop the magazine, pull the charging handle back, or disengage the safety and pull the trigger?

Yep, non story. She was nosy, doing stuff she shouldn't have been.

As I company commander I have been 4 feet up one of my soldier's asses for leaving mundane TA-50 gear in an unsecured vehicle in areas where there were civilians.
