If the cost of solar for 100% of my usage plus ~3 days of battery storage is within $10-15k or so of a whole-home natgas generator, I'm going to have to go solar+batteries given that would save me ~$2500/year in electricity bills. Also it wouldn't cost me an extra $40/day in gas when I need the backup power.

my wife has a business that will force us to come back should a cane hit, so my next time will prolly be this fall unfortunately.
