Technically correct, but no one asks for a cotton swab, they ask for a Q-tip regardless of brand. And no one asks for an adhesive bandage.

We have always referred to it as either Bush Hogging, Mowing or Shredding.
Or if you were one of my father's long time workers with a speech impediment, he "Threaded" the field.
