But it seems extremely dumbassery to intentionally act so foolishly to someone in Goodells position.

Yep and it quite interesting to note that when asked Kurt Warner had gone on record as saying there was only one team they played where he thought he was being deliberately targeted for injury and it was not the Saints he named..
Brett was just in the twilight of his career and couldn't take the pressure the Saints could bring..
