31-14 final score

easily could/should have been the final with the questionable USC td, and our decision to not score at the end.
Would the same criticism currently being levied at the team be present if that was the final?

Good point, I'd say, but since it's merely a means of assessing our performance, the questionability of SC's touchdown is pretty much irrelevant.

Unfortunatly winning by a TD isn't as impressive as two. The score is all that's remembered. Score as much as humanly possible. Spurrier has done it many times in his career.

oh, i agree. I have never understood the crying or lauding of the "respect" shown by kneeling. Personally, i want your best all game and get more pissed off when you kneel. I don't want your sympathy.

My god, with all the whining from you guys about what the score "Shoulda been", I can imagine what this board would look like if you had actually lost. I bet half of the people who post here would have gone home and shot themselves.
Its not like the Refs tried to TACKLE your friggin QB on a scramble... (seriously, wtf was that? Someone needs to take a look at that guys gambling habits or something).

I say you score. The sportsmanship thing is great until it costs you PR. You lose PR, you lose recruits, prestige, etc. Then you have 3-8 seasons, but hey, at least they congratulate the winners every game!

they were ahead and in control of a definate win...at that late in the game why even try if all u have to do is run the clock out...trying to get style points in that situation would have been dumb...i was looking out for a fumble ran back for a touchdown or some crazy shite with our luck this year

Interesting...so, if LSU had scored a TD at the end, it would have added 7 to LSU's score and subtracted 3 from SC's? Wow.
