2001 SEC Championship Game.
Since 1992, I was obsessed with LSU making it to this game, and with the heartbreak of almost making it in 1996 and 1997, it was finally happening.
The Tennessee fans dominated the Georgia Dome, and I had a Tenn fan tell me earlier that week that LSU didn’t have a snowball’s chance of winning. Just a total shock that LSU won that game. It was the beginning of the Golden Age.
