One town on Santorini that is very underrated and is a little cheaper than other places is Akrotiri. It is the southern tip of the crescent, caldera-facing. Unbelievable. It was my family’s favorite area over our 10 day stay in Santorini last year. Akrotiri has some awesome beaches, with safe cliff jumping spots, and very nice quaint restaurants.
