Don't think he is on the field enough to call it a sophomore slump.

I find he has been reliable and played well whenever he's on the field. It was a great decision to have him receive punts when TH was having a little difficulty.

I think it's because Harry Coleman ended up being better than we thought he would be. Last year I assumed that Chad Jones would be Steltz's heir apparent.

Chad Jones covers better than Coleman, which is why Coleman stays at safety and Jones is in coverage most of the time.

works out well for each

I don't know if I'd call it a slump. He hasn't been on the field all that much. I know they were moving him all over the place in the Spring. His talent will show when he's able to get consistent PT at one position and he's not getting moved all over the place.

I wouldnt call it a slump by him but more so a slump by the whole defense.

I think hes playing well all things considered. I would like to see him making more plays in the secondary, like some ints or big hits, but I think that will happen once the defense gets back on track.

Think Chad Jones will be taking over for Curtis Taylor next year? I know when he signed with us it was assumed that he would wind up at FS and Francois would wind up at SS.

eh, not sure about a slump. He was solid in man coverage last year, terrible in zone/communication. He's the same this year.

I have no idea how people think up these questions. He played lights out last night, was in the mix on many plays.

agreed

he is on pace to take the annual crown from Tyson Jackson as this year's biggest disappointment, at least so far
