Early July, I'm headed for a short Th/Fr night stay in WP before going to see the Avett Bros in Red Rocks on Sat. We have all day Friday to hang around and go to dinner. Recommendations are appreciated!

Sunspot Lodge at Winter Park Resort. Nothing fancy but you get to ride the gondola to the top and views are amazing.
Hernando's Pizza Pub - Pizza and Italian. Actually, our favorite.
Deno's Mountain Bistro - Have only eaten there a couple of times and no complaints.
Devils Thumb Ranch in
Tabernash. It is pricey though.
If you have kids do Sunspot for sure but it is only for lunch I think during the summer.

Pizza Pedaler
Good food and the owners were very nice and friendly. Also felt bad because they were so short staffed this past winter when we were there and really seemed to be struggling despite it being good food. If they are still around give them a try.

Hernando’s hands down; be sure to put some honey on the crusts for dessert.
Mexican, try Azteca or Casa Mexico.
If you want to stop in Idaho Springs, try Beau-Jo’s or Main St Cafe.
