It’s exactly the point. Kids are outside doing something but you guys are judgmental about WHAT they’re doing outside. His point is that the kids are outside doing something. There’s a pocket of posters here that have a serious problem with kids playing ball in the summer. If your kid is not a lazy slob and isn’t inside playing video games the entire summer, it doesn’t matter what he or she is doing.

You guys can argue about the value all you want, I'm simply responding to the idea that you either play travel ball or you're a fattie who plays video games.

And yes I think Travel Ball, like everything else, is fine in moderation.

Nothing wrong with summer ball... Just the turf fields and the leagues making money off the backs of kids just wanting to have a good time. Not everything has to be for profit. I get it umpires have to be paid... Apparently these days it is a full time job for the organizers. Some leagues are wooden bat leagues so more money for more bats.

It's trashy. Dizzy dean and Dixie you were wonderful organizations. Sad that Braxton senior can't get a real job and is too lazy to tend/mow a field. Very sad.
