Didn't see a post about Trevor Strand (The Black Dahlia Murder)

Got to see these guys 5 or 6 times over the years and they never fricking disappointed. First time I saw them was in NOLA, oddly enough, in some shithole dive. Actually met Trevor in the crowd before the show and got a picture with him. Sadly, that picture has been lost to time. I'm glad I got to catch their Nocturnal anniversary tour and the last time I saw them, they played a lot of deep cuts from Ritual, my favorite album they did.
Sucks losing someone so talented. The guy could do it all and loved his fans.
The song that got me hooked on them:
What A Horrible Night To Have A Curse
A decent one off their last album:
Sunless Empire

I saw them at Ground Zero in Spartanburg SC back in 2016. It was intense as shite and the Spartanburg crowd was amazing. Strnad was a pretty impressive frontman and Brandon Ellis on lead guitar was fantastic.
Yeah it’s always a damn shame when something like this happens. Seems pretty clear it was suicide. Not officially announced as such but in the initial statement about it contact info for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline was included.
Sucks.

It does suck. I preferred and liked Ryan Knight's work better than Brandon's stuff, but both are excellent guitarists.
I wonder what Brian will do now? He's the last one that was there when it all started. It's hard to see it continuing under the same name now.
