Weezer's second of four seasonal albums, Summer, comes out on June 21. Listen to the single, "Records", here: LINK.
I'm hoping this album is better than Spring, which I found overall pretty average and boring. "Records" is better than anything on that album IMO, so that gives me hope.

Already on Spotify or at least seven songs are (could this be just a twenty minute album?). First song was boring but i will give it a shot.

The only one I see on Spotify is Spring. These are EP's. They are releasing one EP at the beginning of each season this year.

Like I said, I was not a big fan of Spring, so I would skip that EP unless you are really curious.

Ok, that's weird. OK Human was great so i hope they get back to form.

The Summer EP is supposed to be kinda poppy, classic weezer I think? Fall and Winter may be geared more toward OK Human style.

The only thing past Maladroit I've liked has been some of the Red Album, as well as a few of their covers like "Africa." I just cannot enjoy their pop direction. As with every subsequent Weezer album, I'll give it a shot and hope with anticipation they return to vintage form.

Have you listened to Everything Will Be Alright in the End? That one was produced by the same guy who did Blue. It has that sound.
I felt the exact same as you and then that album changed my mind.
