Yes he threw one horrible interception, but with the exception of that one pass he had a damn strong game for a freshman QB. There were a few passes that should have been caught and weren't. I thought he really put the ball on the money last night. We are going to be just fine at QB the rest of the season.

I personally think Lee and hatch did a great job last night. It seemed once they really got in the groove of going in and out that it somehow worked very well. I was just really happy to see the whole team look like they were finally getting it together and working together so well during the 3rd and especially 4th quarter. I really think the whole team needed that. Definitely a big confidence booster.

Aside from the interception he had a good game. I still notice he doesn't set his feet well when there is a bit of pressure, but he'll learn in time. I do think that if Lafell doesn't drop that beautiful ball in the first quarter and sustain the drive, the scoreline would have been WAAAAY different.

shaky at times, sure....but he and hatch are both very talented for their level of experience....their future looks bright....

I don't really like the two Q-back situation, but I think they both did well last night.

Byrd dropped a big one too.

Lee is getting blasted for a bad decision but the guy made some huge throws last night and he had some guys not making plays around him. His two third down conversions on our final drive to TT and RD were very impressive.
Lee did what he needed to do last night and that's win the game.

You obviously were f***ing drunk last night while watching the game. The defense won the game late not J Lee.

IDK what game you were watching, but Lee made few mistakes, especially in the 2nd half when he was on a huge roll. Defence won the game, I agree but you cant say that Lee didnt do good

Most if not all his completions were behind the guy or he had to jump in the air shite the guy is 6-4 and he had to jump while he was wide open. Why do you think the defense to USC blitzed every play. Because Jarred Lee was getting rattled and couldn't do anything. You people are trying to come up with excuses every game. The freshman quaterback for USC did better than J Lee

Lee made some great throws that were dropped.

Did I miss something and we lost the game last night? Who is making an excuse for LSU winning the game?

Yet our freshman QB was the one that won the game.

Our defense won the game buddy. Yes our wide receivers dropped many balls but he also made plenty bad passes

Get a fricking grip!!! Yes he had some shaky throws, WOW!! I do not think anyone was surprised about that. At the same time, he had some excellent throws which 2 were dropped.
Overall, he played a good game. I agree our D shut it down in the second half, which made me a damn proud fan. Seriously though get off your high horse and off of Lee's nuts.

I think Lee has work to do, but he looks promising. He has the coolness and toughness about his persona, and with experience will come confidence. He's got a pistol on him, and although every pass hasn't been perfect...there have been a few that were. The long balls were pretty, and DByrd didn't just drop that one as easily as that. The defender hit his arm as soon as it beautifully dropped in the basket. Lafell didn't have his focus last night...that's for sure.

incorrect. I like Hatch still. I liked him better from the beginning. I started warming up to Lee, but as of now, I want to see them give him the starting spot and go with it. Lee has let me down. I saw him throw one miraculous pass that was dropped by lafell, and one that should have been caught by Byrd, but those were not the norm. Aside from a handful of throws, he was all over the place leaving his receivers out to dry, completely missing them on some. But al of that said, I dont care, just pick one of them and go with it. I hate our QB situation right now also.

Here's to General Lee!!
I am looking forward to the rest of this season and 3 more years of this guy behind center. Sure he makes some mistakes, don't they all, but he is cool under pressure and comes right back to cut up a defense. To come from behind at Auburn and SC, two strong defenses, is amazing for a freshman.
