Lee is really looking good. Some people just don't realize how tough it is for a RS Freshman on the road in the SEC. Pretty tough gauntlet he's faced so far.

People would rather remember the one mistake instead of the good plays he made. Not to mention the one deep ball to Byrd that was a touchdown, and the pass for 30 yards over the middle that was dropped by Lafell, a beautiful ball.
And for all we know, Toliver could have cut that route short, it wouldn't be the first time an INT was his fault. But, no way to know for sure.

you can take out RS Freshman. it's just tough on the road. period.
his QB rating is still over 130 and his completion rate is still right at 60%

pretty much the toughest you can face in the SEC
He doesn't have anymore tough SEC road environments to worry about for the rest of the year

the deep ball to byrd was not anyone's fault. Was a great defensive strip. Now, Lafell's drop is what really hurt.

I love Lee. Wish he could run better. Love the steam he puts on the ball. Coach needs more deep routes.

he didn't. it was just a bad throw b/c of bad mechanics from lee...it happens
he's a hot/cold passer and when he's off, he's off

no
if a ball hits you in 2 hands, you catch it. no matter what
byrd double clutched that ball and lost it

I think it's the 2 pick-6's and the near third one last nite that's difficult to forget

In general, Lee's footwork is terrible. His arm is really strong because he throws off his back foot nearly all the time.

I thought Lee played pretty well last night. He didn't make many mental errors at all. The only one I can think of is the one he floated over the middle that was almost picked off.
With that said, I think we should start having our O-line practice pursuit angles to help prevent the obligatory pick-6 that Lee throws every game.

u got to be kidding? according to the rant the QB rating was about 20 with 8% completions.
He is a seasoned veteran starting 3 games in college

he also almost got caught in another zone blitz or faux zone blitz

Alot of people just remeber him getting nervous and making all those high throws last night...He will only get better with time.

I think that you're wrong Slo, the ball was clearly stripped. He caught it clean and was putting away when defender grabbed his arm and stripped.

Lee is playing better than can be expected for this stage of his career. Coming back to Tiger Stadium for a 3 game stretch may mean his level of play will really climb.
Minus a few drops he would have been getting sucked by the announcers the way Garcia was during the first half.
He floated one pass....it happens.

uh yeah...we're talking about LSU fans here, Slo
They'd find a way to blame Hawthorne for missed free throws
