There are approximately 5300 fires annually reported in the manufacturing/processing sector.That around 440 a month. I dont think a few per month among 36000 food processing plants is high and neither does anyone in the industry of food production or fire prevention. Where are you guys getting the figure 97?

So, now the question is are the reported fires valid, like in total plant shut down? And how many of those are there annually?
Or are they mostly just small fires that had to be reported to OSHA and the plant goes on operating?
