A bucket list item. One of the great Bavarian traditions! Usually December 5th. Honestly they don’t all look like this. Some are actually pretty tame.

I did Krampusnacht in Salzburg many years ago. I knew little of it before going. I had a great time. I imagine Krampusnacht is also really fun in the smaller villages in the Alps.

If you go see if you can find a glühwein stand to stay warm.
