I agree Tennessee is obnoxious
But part of the reason for that is that despite dominating right now, currently inferior programs are trying to gatekeep them from taking a "seat at the table" in a super niche sport that 95% of the country doesn't care about
It's just a recipe for Tennessee to engage in all sorts of douchebaggery

Because we are doing things like winning the SEC by a record margin of games? Maybe because we have virtually the #1 hitting and pitching stats in all of college baseball as well? Y’all try being as dominant as we have been at baseball this year and not get a lil excited.

Old guard baseball programs hate us because we are better than them and talk smack while doing it. They would all trade their coach for Tony V (if they say different they are lying).

Because you don’t get there by asking nicely. You get there by prying success out of the cold dead hands of opponents. It’s what Spurrier did at Florida and it’s what Saban did at LSU. Tony has the right idea. It’s also odd to think that LSU baseball wasn’t a powerhouse until 30 years ago. It’s almost like a gifted and determined coach can alter the trajectory of a program

I cannot blame them for their obnoxious exuberance. Football has been such an incredible disappointment to the Vols that they have to go all in on anything else. They have not had less than four losses in football since 2004. So when a second tier sport has a few years of success after over a decade in the basement of the SEC East they get a little uppity.
