Trailer on YouTube
quote:

The furious, raging storm at the center of the rock and roll revolution are the Sex Pistols - and at the center of this series is Sex Pistols’ founding member and guitarist, Steve Jones. Jones’ hilarious, emotional and at times heart-breaking journey guides us through a kaleidoscopic telling of three of the most epic, chaotic and mucus-spattered years in the history of music.

We're really enjoying this.

Kyle Chandler's daughter is smoking as Chrissie Hynde.

I finished up last night.. Really enjoyed it.. Did anyone else have a problem with the volume? I had to raise that sucker up to around 80 and quickly mute when a commercial came on...

I thought it was solid. I am old and remember following them during those times. I learned some things different about them. Not as good as Sid and Nancy but very solid.

Was a huge Pistols fan in high school.

Glad to see the first looks are positive. I have this downloaded for the plane ride home from Alaska. Looking forward to watching.

Finished it last night and enjoyed it. Very entertaining. I like the Johnny Rotten character more than I expected. It's crazy how short of a time they were together considering the impact they had on music.

Saw it.

Enjoyed it.

8/10.

Always been a Pistols fan.

Nothing new revealed, but still a decent portrayal from Steve Jones perspective.

My only ‘complaint’ is that Johnny Rotten is a little guy (maybe 5’7”) and the actor portraying him looks about 6”. Also, Rotten was/is hideous and this actor is way too handsome (sorta like when they cast Paul Newman to play Earl Long). Regardless, the actor NAILS Johnny’s voice, accent, and perfectly-timed rude sarcasm.

I kept falling asleep and never made it out of the first episode. I love the Pistols so I'm definitely gonna try again

Oddly enough, the person who didn't want this series to be made (Johnny Rotten) ends up looking the best. Lydon comes across as the only cautious member of the band, showing a healthy wariness towards the businessmen and a great deal of marketing savvy. It's Jones' story but he doesn't paint a pretty picture of himself.

(The current arrangement with the Sex Pistols leaves the usage of the band up to a majority vote of the surviving members and the Sid Vicious estate.)
