Get some Berkley Rattle Shrimp in Coastal Candy Color. Loop knot, fish under an Oval Cork (they move through the water) Shrimp goes up when you pop the cork and when it falls back down that's when you get hit.

I suppose one reason I ask is a trip burned into my mind from about 4/5 years ago. Bad day on big lake. Boat owner says one last stop and he goes to a weir. The three of us guys are all throwing at the moving water. The one lady decides to just let a shrimp drift out with the current because she's bored. When the cork would get to about 30 yards behind the boat, it would go down. We all started catching. I mean, every drift. So, two of us started throwing plastics to that exact spot. Not one bite in many, many casts.
