The festivities in Normandy are on my bucket list. I've visited Normandy, but not in early June. The parade in Sainte-Mere Eglise is said to be an incredible experience. They still hang a parachute from the church.

With all the focus on defeating actual nazis, you'd think the admin would be on board.

But then folks would remember what actual nazis ARE, and how America helped defeat them, and realize that calling anyone who is patriotic a 'nazi' only hurts the Democrats.

So best to ignore D-Day and instead make up a new holiday ' victims of gun violence' and use ORANGE as the color to vilify.

Because Orange Man Bad.

The government is currently arming Ukrainian Nazis, so any mention of the brave men and women who defeated WW2 Nazis is strictly verboten.

The Marxist goal is to erase our history. There cannot be any evidence left of the American excellence that made this the greatest country in the world. World War 2 is one of the shining examples of American power and courage. The Marxists don't want to remind people of how great this country it was. It will be impossible for them to destroy it and hand it over to the globalists if people realize American greatness. Events like June 6th will start to fade into anonymity as this Nazi regime in DC ignores and deletes American accomplishments. They will erase July 4th and the Stars and Stripes when they deem the time is right.

Is this a function of our government? Can this not be handled and funded by private groups? We’re broke.

Not enough womxn, gays, & minorities.

Also the things those men fought to protect are what the current regime is in the middle of destroying.

The only thing they want people to remember is Hitler Bad. Keeps the sky screamers occupied that way

Agree 100% that we should do more. We took my grandfather in 2006, he was a Utah Beach D-Day participant. There were American flags on everything that would hold one, and he was never allowed to pay for a meal or admission to anything.

Yeah, because the entire population are Nazi's.

You seem like the type who enjoys a little ethnic cleansing in the name of the politburo.

Would fit right in with the commies in Russia.

There should be a national D-Day museum.

I bet if you started one, it would grow bigger and bigger and one day it would turn into the National wwii museum.
