People will glamorize because of recent upgrades but it is still a bottom tier stadium in a great location
People will secretly agree instead of spending almost a billion on upgrades they should have done a 2 year plan to demo the existing dome and create dome 2.0

The one thing I wish they would have done was to take the roof off and put some sort of translucent roof in (or even a retractable roof if possible, engineering wise). Think the Vikings and Rams stadiums. As one poster noted, the lighting is horrible and you get a sort of claustrophobic feeling in the place.
I think a translucent roof would really brighten the place up and make the entire experience feel more modern.
It would have probably required the Saints to play in Tiger Stadium for a year, but the reward would be worth it.
As far as tearing it down and building another stadium in another location, that would be stupid. As stadiums go, it probably has the best location in all of the NFL. It's just too convenient to build a stadium anywhere else and it would be cost-prohibitive at this point to find another site with nearly the convenience factor.
Just my $.02.
