Why are you attacking me? I originally responded to you saying that the OP should feel bad because his parents took care of him as a baby.

The OP asked for advice on care, and you're calling everyone in here horrible for even considering nursing facilities. It's NOT the same as caring for an infant. Not even in the same ball park. If you had experience in this area you would never make such ridiculous assertions.

I'm genuinely happy for you that you either haven't been in this situation or that your situation worked out well providing home care. I think it's a given that home is best, but not everyone is physically/mentally/financially able to care for another 24/7. No reason to be a jerk about it.
