Interesting, really sounds like something you shoot well and can get good penetration. The fact that 9mm worked but was fmj is good to know also. Although I would like something bigger lol

I think I would prefer a bit more juice than a 9mm also. However, having shot a 454 Casull and 500 Smith, I know that I am far more accurate with my .357 Sig. I also like having more than 5 chances to hit the sweet spot.

I took my new Glock 20 hog hunting today. 10mm, FMJ. I only used it for finishing head shots and I was surprised at it did not finish off the hogs quickly. Maybe hollow points were needed. Anyway, I love the 10mm and it shoots nice bit if you’re really worried about brown bears, put more faith in bear spray!
