My wife bought some fresh flowers from a nursey for a table display . Two days later I have an invasion of gnats. Any way to get rid of them without using a poison spray?
Heard about apple cider vinegar, does that really work or do the gnats just get drunk?

I know it works for fruit flies. Small bowl with some apple cider vinegar and a couple of drops of Dawn. They are drawn to the smell of the ACV, Dawn breaks the surface tension so the fruit flies can’t land on top of the surface. Instead they sink and drown.

I guess it would work for gnats, too.

I have used the cider vinegar/Dawn to kill a few gnats. We had an invasion during early covid days when working at home. Put out bowls in several places and slowly eliminated them.
