re: Anyone have experience with whole-house water filtration systems?

We tried and it was a pain to find some local entity that would tell us what to do and sell it. There were a bunch of national companies trying to pitch us a package - all with mixed reviews, and then a bunch of local companies who said they'd install whatever we decided on (but we had no idea what we needed).

We didn't have hard water so it was really just for purification. Ended up just going with an RO system for the kitchen, which we all love.
