Ordered Saturday - arrived this morning. I took advantage of the 25% off Memorial weekend sale and saved $100
I usually trim with a push mower and use lawn tractor for 1 acre. My year old centipede sodded area covers 1/2 acre.
I did it all with the battery it comes with (60V 5.0ah).
A year ago I bought Greenworks 60V blower and string trimmer each with a 4.0ah battery that work in this mower if needed.
This mower has far exceeded expectation. Right out of the well packaged box it was a snap to assemble. Solid steel deck. Quiet. Beautiful cut (comes with spare blade). Very easy to push (can't stand self propelled units). Easy to clean. The vertical storage position allows for access to under-deck making it simple to clean under there as well as do blade maintenance. I'll be sharpening blades frequently now.
I just wanted to throw a review out. IF you're on the fence about battery powered mowers let me push you toward them. I can assure you it won't be regretted.

that was one on my list of e-mowers I would consider.
Does it allow hosing down of the deck?

The huge amount of torque produced by electric motors at low RPM make the ideal for mowers, and lawn tools. I guess I am a hypocrite since I will never buy a electric car, but definitely want a electric zero turn in the future. It’s really just which is the best tool for the job. For me a electric car doesn’t work, but the mowers will.

Have 60v Greenworks for 1.5 yrs and just love it...also have 60v trimmer (which is great and powerful) and the packpack blower. The batteries are easy to charge and can be used for 1 hr or more.
