Agreed. If we get to a point where EVs are better than gas powered vehicles in every way then you won't have to pay people to buy them as long as they are comparably priced.

Tesla's sold just a couple cars since the rebate expired.

I’m not saying the government is better but let’s not pretend consumers are super rational either
