I’ve seen several places not accept cash.
As banking moves more to online only you can expect this to increase. Many people aren’t even members of a brick and mortar bank (online only).

WTF does that even mean
Banks are all corporate now, they do not know any of the customers. The days George Bailey's Building and Loan not longer exist.
USAA is my bank for the past 20 years, they are online only.
