Compare the angle behind the plate to the angle you’re referencing. The glove isn’t near the shirt when his hand hits the plate. He slides into the glove when he’s already well past home with his hand.

How you do not see that is beyond me.

It’s because for some reason he wants to believe he saw something no one else did, including the folks reviewing the play in Birmingham. It’s clear as day that what he is talking about are the strings on the glove and not the jersey moving.

There’s absolutely no need to watch it in slow motion because you can clearly see his glove is not close to the jersey until he basically hits him right on the belt or right below. Slow motion just makes it harder to see that angle when he’s coming in. SAFE and the umpire was right above the whole darn thing, too close in fact.

Agreed, let’s run rule this bitch!
