That was the debate (about which BHP was very coy).

If the focus is on the BLACK (saying it like an old school racist who had his negro word taken away, circa 1975), then, it suggests that is the operative word and that the pilots themselves happen to be of more recent African extraction than Ofeys.

If the focus is on HELICOPTER, then that suggests the helicopters are in fact black and the race is immaterial (or undetermined).

If you stress both, it becomes more vague and/or suggests it might be both (pilot has an excellent tan AND the helicopter has a night operations paint scheme).


(Frankly, this place was better when we discussed shite like this semi-seriously. )
