I get where you're coming from here, but, unless we're anticipating the state legislature cutting the state parks budget in the next few years, I'm not sure what the downside is.

I doubt this has a chance of passing though. I'm betting most people who don't research at all will see "new debt" and vote no.

Unless I'm just a simpleton (quite possibly), this will be issued through the sale of bonds. So it's not like it's just "spending" $85 mil. I voted "yes".

I researched it and saw "new debt" and voted no.

How about we charge a fee to those who use the park rather than dump a new debt on the entire state? most of the state will never set foot in the park or reap any economic benefit from it.
