Long-term, Disney is in trouble. They've alienated families AND they're prohibitively expensive. Quality-wise, I don't think they are nearly as competitive in Florida as the other megapark they share Orlando with, as they were just a decade or so ago.

They have the high ground and the resources to change, but will likely not do so without a major shift in corporate culture.

How likely is that in the short or even mid-term?

long term? they've lost 63 Billion dollars in market cap the last 8 months.
