Grid Legends is more fun than Gran Turismo 7

Fight me
On a more serious note, I understand that it's not exactly an apples to apples comparison. GT is a sim. It would be generous to call Grid Legends "sim-cade." GT has a wide variety of different styles of race cars whereas Grid focuses primarily on touring cars.
There are a lot of things that I don't particularly like with Grid Legends. The career mode is pretty bare bones for one. There's virtually no team customization like in the older games.
Moment to moment gameplay though is much more fun in Grid Legends. The sense of speed is much more impressive, the AI controlled cars race like real people instead of robots who stick to a racing line like glue, and the visuals seem to take greater advantage of next generation hardware. Lighting and weather effects are much more impressive on Grid Legends than GT7, and both games still run at a solid 60 FPS.
