No school has enough clout to keep LSU out of their regional. I can assure you Hattiesburg would love us to take over or try to take over.

LSU might play in Hattiesburg (or vice versa) but it's not going to be a (9) v (24) seeding. That's too high for USM and too low for LSU. These two teams would likely both be in the 14-18 range.

It just feels like it's gonna be LSU and USM hosting. Then OM and 8T4 in the regionals. They could line us up with 8T4 but I don't think that's where they are going to go. Just a feeling. Could be gas. I'm rather old....

2021 Florida went 17-13 in the SEC, finished the reg season #20 in the RPI, went 3-1 in Hoover as the #6 seed losing to TennerC in the semis, and hosted as the #15 seed.

Kinda Like last year when UGA and LSU had identical records and UGA beat LSU in the SEC Tournament knocking us out of it 1 and done. They stayed home while we went to Oregon to play in the regional.
SEC Tournament has virtually no bearing on anything relating to the NCAA Tournament.
