We can’t afford a loss Wednesday. Gotta go with our best pitcher to win.

You’re not throwing Floyd on short rest in the conference tournament.

While I don’t think Floyd will pitch game one, he threw on Friday. 4 days is hardly short rest

I would think that he goes with the regular weekend rotation. Not having to play Tuesday is huge. I think that’s part of the reason Jay used Reyzelman on Thursday, he thought he’d need him for an extended outing on Tuesday.

Guys like Vietmeier and Fowler will be huge this weekend. If they could give us 2-3 innings that would help tremendously.

This will be JJ’s first time coaching in a conference tournament since his days at Nevada

Completely different ballpark, especially with the wind blowing in.

Find a sense of humor. You really think I expect to score 20+ runs a game?

Hilliard on a fairly short leash Wednesday. And hey, you have no choice but to pull out all the stops to win the game you’re playing and let tomorrow take care of itself.

We win Wednesday and I think our deep bullpen starts to pay off in a tournament situation.
