my alarms were so sensitive, I had to take them down.
I hope my house doesn't burn down.

ETA: They were brand new as well. (New House Brag)

I had this issue too. As the wife and I were upgrading things around the house, we purchased some brand new smoke/carbon alarms. Install and test was easy. After about a month, that fricker starts going off in the middle of the night. I cleaned it out, re-installed. Next night, same thing.

frick that. We don’t have a gas leak, otherwise I’d be dead by now.
