Can someone give a legitimate reason on why we NEED shooting? Was our offense not good enough?

Did you watch our 2nd unit in the Suns series?

Also, do you watch the NBA? It's a shooters the league above anything else. Get as many as you can.

How do you even classify what our second unit was? They pretty much staggered BI and CJ, so is it a unit without CJ off the floor? That’s a legitimate question. If you look at lineups from the Suns series our best offensive lineup with BI was when he was paired with a guy off the bench. That actually holds up defensively as well, which is interesting.

Same actually goes for CJ as well, his best lineups were with two players off the bench. Heck you could take it to 5 guys and our best lineups were with bench players. Nance, Trey, and Jose. Again, that holds up defensively as well.

So I don’t think that’s really true. Add Zion to that, it becomes even less true. If you look at the entire picture, the fact that we hold the best offensive rating in the playoffs, makes it even less true than that.

I think the whole point is for the first time in a long time, we don’t really NEED anything. There are some things you can classify as wanting more than others, but we don’t need anything. Personally I would still put rim defense and perimeter defense at the top of the list.
