2010 F150 XLT 4.6L AC Issue

AC just stopped blowing cold from one day to the next.Checked it with some gauges and it appears to have freon in it and the compressor seems to be working but no cold air.
When I bought the truck the heat wouldn’t work but the air conditioner did. If you turn the temperature control all the way to heat and it would still blow cold air now just hot air comes out. Any ideas as what may be the issue?

if the big line coming out of the firewall is ice cold then your heater blend door is the issue and not the a/c
often it can just be a temp sensor or maybe the blend door motor

I had a 2011 F150. Same symptoms as you’re describing. It was the blend door motor.

yep you need to replace the blend door motor
youtube it, its not that hard and i think they cost under $20
in the short term if you disconnect the heater hoses to firewall and connect them together the a/c will work fine until you get around to fixing it

I have a 2010 as well. Has 5.4 in it. My problem with my ac is that it will blow cold air through the vents like normal for about 20 minutes and then it just stops blowing the air through the vents. You can hear the motor running just no air is coming out of the vents. Every now and then it will blow small pieces of white plastic out of the vents. Anyone tell me what the issue might be?

Maybe clogged in cabin air filter?
