Maybe for what you fish for and where you fish.
If you can't locate shad and throw a cast net then you're going to struggle mightily on Lake Texoma. For big blues, shad is a must. For stripers, I use topwater artificials when the topwater bite is on but live shad versus sassy shad swimbait is dependent and I use both.
