alot of low income people who where affected by coivd had a year plus of extra benifits. it seems like alot of them took that time and extra money and moved on from thier shitty jobs. benifits have ran out on the federal level and the state level. so that's not the problem. Wages have been below inflation rates for 20yrs. Now we have the problem that comes with that. People moving on to better paying jobs. i always wondered how chick-fila always had better fast food employees than everyone else in the industry. well $17 an hour will get you a better class of employee than $10hr will every day and it shows.
